Listed below are the web-sites that we will be visiting in class from time to time.  Getting some extra practice at home will always aid in improving literacy and computer skills.

  1. Starfall
    Learn the alphabet in a game like manner. Students will hear the sounds of the letters, will see the letters in words, and see both upper and lower case letters. As an added bonus students will gain some mouse skills as they learn A-Z. The first link explores the alphabet, but feel free to explore the reading links on the site.

    These on-line games reinforce fundamental learning concepts in math, reading, spelling, language arts, and basic problem solving.  Typing games are an added feature for kids who are learning the basics of keyboarding

    This site is loaded with children's computer games. An easy grade level navigation screen will show the large variety of activities

    You start by learning the home row keys. Each stage builds on previous lessons, introducing new letters as you progress.
